Autonomous Beach Cleaning Device

SYSTEMS INTEGRATION LEAD


I integrated the powertrain, sensing & controls, waste collection, and waste storage sub-systems by:


  • Designing mechanical parts and assemblies in Solidworks
  • Machining shafts, sprockets, and custom components
  • Soldering connectors, wires, batteries, and sensors to the electrical harness
  • Developing control algorithms in C++ & Python on a ROS platform

WIRE MESH CONVEYOR BELT PRODUCTION


I owned the waste collection sub-system of the robot, for which I collaborated with Chinese suppliers to design, produce, and ship a customized wire mesh conveyor belt with slats.
