SYSTEMS INTEGRATION LEAD
I integrated the powertrain, sensing & controls, waste collection, and waste storage sub-systems by:
- Designing mechanical parts and assemblies in Solidworks
- Machining shafts, sprockets, and custom components
- Soldering connectors, wires, batteries, and sensors to the electrical harness
- Developing control algorithms in C++ & Python on a ROS platform
WIRE MESH CONVEYOR BELT PRODUCTION
I owned the waste collection sub-system of the robot, for which I collaborated with Chinese suppliers to design, produce, and ship a customized wire mesh conveyor belt with slats.
The conveyor's purpose is to transport garbage successfully acquired by the intake system to the storage unit, with an incline angle of 40 degrees. The conveyor also serves as a method of
PROJECT MANAGER
I led the design team to deliver our final product within an 8-month deadline by:
- Defining feature prioritization, timelines, and dependency maps
- Driving milestone achievements and maintaining project scope
- Performing task management, design validation, and creation of system schematics
- Raising over $4,000 through a fundraising campaign
- Executing budget management on all acquired fundin
