Automotive Industry Professional Panelist
Accelerate Auto brought together over 100 Black students from the Toronto District School Board and York Region District School Board to experience the 2024 Canadian International Auto Show and introduce them to the boundless career opportunities that exist within the automotive industry. I was invited to share my personal journey into the automotive world on an industry professionals panel.
Though initially invited to inspire a room of high school students, I left the event with an unexpected source of inspiration myself. The immense talent I witnessed within our Black youth left me inspired not only for their future accomplishments, but also for the positive impact they will undoubtedly make in shaping the landscape of innovation and excellence within the automotive realm.
